I resynthesized the iconic ringtone of the 1994 Nokia 2110 with the power of additive synthesis, wavetable synthesis, and convolution and packed it into a tidy little rack for Ableton Live!
The default setting is tuned to accurately replicate the original device, then 6 macro controls allow adjustment to sit better in your mix or add some stylistic lofi flair.
This rack uses Hybrid Reverb for convolution to model the speaker. This effect is only in Ableton Live Suite! It still sounds solid without convolution if you still want to give it a go. A small reverb and eq can get a similar tinny sound.
